Flooring Estimator

Encore Design Services is a growing flooring company in the Phoenix metro area. We have an immediate full-time opening for a flooring estimator who is looking to build a long-term relationship and career. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated and energetic individual who has knowledge of the construction industry. Experience in the flooring industry is required. The qualified candidate shall be responsible for quantifying multiple projects using blueprints and estimating software. Strong product knowledge and an understanding of flooring and the installation processes are essential, from a relatively simple project to a complete custom home. Job Requirement & Duties Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficient with Measure Square, RFMS or other measuring software Excellent computer skills, including accurate project setup and file management Construction knowledge/experience Excellent written and verbal skills Meticulous attention to detail Previous experience bidding commercial or residential flooring preferred. Must be able to handle multiple projects proficiently Must be able to prioritize, work quickly, accurately and produce design projects within set deadlines Highly motivated individual that is passionate about design, problem solving and is success oriented. Work with customers and contractors in developing floor plans and design concepts.
