About the Role
This is a full-time, long-term contract position with potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
As an Employment Specialist, you’ll serve as a trusted extension of the client’s HR team—supporting the end‑to‑end recruiting process and onboarding for both exempt and non‑exempt roles. Sitting directly at the client site, this role offers hands‑on exposure to recruiting operations, hiring managers, and HR leadership in a dynamic, professional environment.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) Client & Stakeholder Partnership
Build and maintain strong working relationships with client HR leaders and hiring managers
Serve as the primary liaison between MAU recruiters and client stakeholders for both hourly and salaried hiring needs
Provide regular updates to hiring managers on open requisitions through meetings, emails, and reporting
Post, manage, and review job requisitions in the applicant tracking system and job boards as needed
Schedule internal and external interviews and distribute interview materials to candidates and hiring teams
Coordinate and administer pre‑employment assessments for skill‑based roles (e.g., Maintenance Tech, Controls Tech)
Support hiring events and other recruitment initiatives as needed
Offers, Onboarding & Compliance
Prepare and distribute offer packets for internal and external candidates
Facilitate onboarding for all external new hires, including background checks, drug screens, physicals, and I‑9 compliance
Coordinate first‑day logistics, new hire orientation, and communication of start‑date instructions
Notify on‑site medical teams of new hire start dates for roles requiring medical review
Ensure accuracy, completion, and filing of all new hire documentation
Data, Reporting & Process Management
Maintain and update recruiting and onboarding tracking spreadsheets
Prepare recurring monthly reports (metrics, billing, compliance, etc.) for MAU and client leadership
Ensure ongoing compliance with federal I‑9 regulations through Equifax system audits
Close requisitions, file position documentation, and ensure proper candidate disposition in the ATS
Distribute post‑fill and post‑hire surveys to candidates and hiring managers
Team & Operational Support
Attend internal and external HR meetings and communicate process updates to the local HR team
Assist on‑site teams with employee questions, recruiting support, and general HR coordination
Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting and onboarding processes
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience in administrative, HR support, or recruiting support roles
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Assertive, outgoing personality with a desire to succeed
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of recruiting or HR support experience
Experience supporting HR or recruiting in a manufacturing or industrial environment
This role operates primarily in a professional office setting, with occasional presence in customer manufacturing environments. Standard office equipment is used daily. Some customer sites may include industrial equipment and powered vehicles.

Ability to stand or walk for up to 4 hours
Ability to sit for up to 4 hours
