Responsibilities & Duties
Evaluate and process consumer loan applications Analyze clients' financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products Assist clients with loan applications and ensure all required documentation is complete Maintain an in-depth knowledge of lending products and services Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan application process Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies Conduct credit checks and assessments for loan approvals Educate clients on the various lending options available Collaborate with other financial professionals to provide comprehensive financial solutions Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to loans Monitor loan accounts to ensure timely payments and address any delinquencies Prepare and present loan proposals to management Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in lending regulations Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field Previous experience in consumer lending or financial services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with financial software and loan processing systems Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations Experience in sales or customer service Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial services or lending role Basic understanding of lending products and financial principles Strong customer service skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Good multitasking and time management abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze financial information Familiarity with credit reporting and assessment processes
