Position Vacancy Announcement
Florida A&M University's Office of Sponsored Research is pleased to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the Senior Grants Specialist vacancy.
Responsibilities
Maintain documentation and approve sub-recipient invoices for payment.
Maintain Revenue Vision portal for generating invoices and payment.
Review sub-recipient invoices and prepare routing to PI for processing payment.
Follow up with sub‑recipients for timely receipt and return of invoice corrections and modifications.
Monitor subaward invoice payments in iRattler Financials, Revenue Vision, and ImageNow as needed.
Work closely with PI and departmental staff for timely review and return of invoice authorizations for payment.
Disseminate information and follow up for receipt of financial data.
Assist with the data collection of the required Financial A133 Audits Certification from subcontractors.
Participate in Technical Assistance meetings with the contract management team, sub‑recipients, and provide necessary follow‑up.
Oversee the document scanning filing system for both archived files, maintain the filing room, and keep currently accessible files as resource materials for the Office of Sponsored Programs.
Maintain electronic resources (scanned) and hard‑copy (paper) files for all OSP grant proposals and awards.
Distribute the award package to Principal Investigators via electronic format.
Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned to facilitate efficient and effective operation of the Division of Research.
Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalency and seven years of related experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Knowledge of Division and University policies and procedures.
Ability to work independently.
Good organizational skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Pay Plan This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
Conditions of Employment Successful candidates are subject to pre‑employment screening which includes a review of criminal records, reference checks, and verification of education. An official college transcript, a high school diploma, or other educational documents must be submitted, where applicable, at the time of employment.
Only United States (U.S.) citizens or aliens who have a legal right to work in the U.S. are eligible for employment. Federal law requires proof of your authorization to work in the United States. You will be required to provide proof of your identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of employment.
