C&C Search is currently recruiting a Community, Events & Workplace Coordinator for a people-focused FinTech organisation, on a 12 month fixed-term contract. Based in Amsterdam, this is a dynamic on-site role with excellent benefits and genuine exposure to workplace operations and culture.

Key responsibilities for this Community, Events & Workplace Coordinator position:
Build, nurture and energise a positive, inclusive office community as the Community, Events & Workplace Coordinator
Create and deliver engaging community initiatives, activations and programmes that drive connection and participation
Organise recurring social, wellbeing and sports activities, working closely with internal communities and ERGs
Coordinate and deliver high-quality internal events including monthly gatherings, department all-hands, workshops and celebrations
Partner with catering, banqueting and hospitality vendors to ensure exceptional food and beverage experiences
Develop detailed event briefings and run-of-show plans, ensuring seamless execution and outstanding attendee experience
Act as a visible, approachable presence on the work floor, supporting employee engagement and culture
Own the on-site onboarding experience from a workplace perspective, delivering a warm and memorable welcome for new joiners
Support day-to-day workplace operations, liaising with vendors across facilities, cleaning, maintenance and catering
Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing and vendor coordination
Contribute to workplace projects, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement of office processes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, global teams and external partners to ensure alignment and follow-through
What background and experience are the company looking for?
Experience in a community, events, hospitality, workplace or employee experience focused role for a minimum of 5 years
Vendor management experience working with a variety of infrastructure service providers - custodial, catering, maintenance, etc.
Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively across teams, ensuring alignment and seamless execution.
Willingness to travel domestically when necessary to support other offices and teams.
A natural people-person with a passion for creating engaging, welcoming environments
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong coordination skills
Confident, approachable and comfortable working in a highly interactive, on-site role
Proactive, hands‑on and solutions‑focused, with a can‑do attitude
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
Flexible and adaptable, happy to support wider workplace and operations needs
