Associate Designer

One of our clients is looking for an assistant or associate designer to join the team right away. The is a contract role that will be ongoing with no set end date. Potential to become a perm role. Fully in office in NYC 5 days a week. 40/hrs a week. This will be working with the swimwear team, but swimwear experience is not required. Job Duties: Helping process samples that we get in (checking them over for accuracy compared to TP, recording comments in trackers and on sample tags) Basic filing and organizing of submits we get in Setting up artwork files for factories - calling out color standards and repeat size CAD work - mostly recoloring existing bodies Transferring tech packs to PLM - would be taking existing tech packs that were set up in Excel and entering the info into our PLM system (I can teach the candidate how our PLM system works, it would just be helpful if they've had experience in some PLM system)
