We are looking for a curious, hands-on Agent Builder Intern who wants to create intelligent systems that solve real problems. You will be working with nebulaONE to design, build, and test AI agents that solve problems for real clients. You’ll configure workflows, teach agents new tricks, and debug like a digital detective. You’ll collaborate with engineers and solution architects who mentor and share knowledge. Help bring intelligent AI agents to life within nebulaONE alongside experienced engineers. Translate client and project requirements into actionable designs for building agents. Experiment with different AI tools, models, strategies, and configurations to optimize agent value. Create and configure agent workflows, multi-agent handoffs, and integrations. Test agents to ensure readiness for production. Document testing, track bugs, and collaborate to resolve issues. Help build and refine features and integrations that improve agent value for clients. Create helpful documentation such as guides, diagrams, and notes for teams and nebulaONE users. Collaborate with teams to gather feedback and improve agent designs. Monitor agent performance and identify opportunities to upgrade. Gain hands-on experience with development tools like Git and understand deployment processes. Stay informed about the latest in AI, ML, and intelligent agent systems. Qualifications
Must have recently graduated (within 2 years) or be near completion of a college degree from a Maryland institution and/or be a Maryland resident. Some technical foundation — eager to grow, not necessarily an expert yet. Strong appetite for learning, especially in AI technologies, agent development, and nebulaONE. Strong drive, work ethic, and clear goals. Initiative — proactive and willing to take on challenges. Patience and persistence to solve problems. Easy-going personality with humility and a sense of humor. Strong written communication skills — able to translate technical concepts into clear language with personality. Passion for people — values collaboration and community involvement. Preferred Skills and Experience
Familiarity with AI tools, chatbots, or conversational AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot). Basic programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages. Exposure to APIs, webhooks, or integrations, or coursework in software development, CS, or AI. Experience writing structured prompts or instructions for AI systems. Comfortable organizing information in documents, spreadsheets, and knowledge bases. You Love To
