Department Overview Sales Operations provides support to fulfill the initiatives of the entire scope of products, including national accounts, district sales, and specialized individual products such as long term care. The department provides market data analysis, coordinates responses to requests for proposals, and generates marketing materials in support of sales initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities The incumbent provides business support for our Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) TotalView and other Sales and Marketing related systems (GEMS, Pega, BMW, AGES and other related systems) through best practices and coordination with the Sales Support and Sales Training Manager. The incumbent effectively communicates with Sales and Marketing leadership and end users to troubleshoot system issues and provides training and guidance. The incumbent is responsible for interacting with all departments of the organization from Sales and Marketing to Applications, Underwriting, Benefits and Group Accounts, Group Control, Marketing Communications, and Enrollment Services, as well as external vendors. The incumbent will provide daily support to internal customers regarding basic application usability issues and business processes. The incumbent evaluates, develops, supports, and provides quality assurance of processes, training and presentations to various levels of leadership across the organization. The incumbent will also be expected to lead and communicate to teams in order to meet deadlines.

Summary of Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems/Technology, Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or other related field

Three years of Information Technology (IT) experience, preferably database technology

Experience in a position analyzing information to solve problems

Experience in a position demonstrating exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in order to interact with all levels within Sales and Marketing

Strategic thinking skills

Experience designing and building reports from data sets using reporting tools

Demonstrated proficiency with managing and using web-based or data-based technology (Examples from previous experiences are requested)

Experience developing and maintaining productive and cooperative working relationships with management and associates

Demonstrated oral and presentation skills

Willing to travel overnight for training and presentations purposes

Systems Administration/Systems Engineer Certification preferred

Project management background preferred

Experience training end users and super users preferred

Experience with Microsoft, Customer Relationship Management, and/or reporting tools, such as TotalView, Dynamics, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word preferred

Work Location The work schedule for this position will be hybrid (onsite/remote). Business areas reserve the right to require associates to return to the office as needed, based on performance or other business considerations. A hybrid work schedule is subject to amendment or termination at any time by the Company.
