This HR Business Partner role coaches and consults with corporate store leaders so they achieve their business strategies by focusing on employee performance, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and diversity & inclusion. This candidate must be able to effectively work across all levels of the organization, serve as a trusted partner to leadership, and operate proactively to bring corporate HR priorities to life. Your business acumen, interpersonal skills, and ability to make data driven decisions and recommendations will be critical. This role will report to the HR Director.

A day in the life…
Partner with HR Director, peer HRBP’s and business leaders to identify people priorities for the organization/client groups.
Support multiple business leaders as a strategic partner and lean in to drive business goals and objectives.
Lead developing and executing a talent plan that provides a developmental pipeline for Asset Protection and ELG
Use external and internal insights, data, and trends to identify and help solve key people and business issues.
Lead talent management activities and workforce planning to ensure a strong and diverse pipeline of talent for the organization.
Provide leadership coaching and support team effectiveness efforts with client groups.
Support change management and employee engagement efforts.
Support Diversity, Equity and Belonging efforts within the organization.
Be a thought partner to business leaders on org design and building organizational capabilities.
Build strong relationships with both employees and business leaders across the organization.
Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through relationship-building and collaboration.
Manage and drive multiple HR priorities in a fast paced, complex and matrixed business environment.

5+ years of directly applicable HR experience partnering with business leaders to drive strategic and effective people outcomes.
Experience consulting effectively with business teams and leaders.
Experience leading change management efforts for organizations undergoing large scale transformation.
Experience partnering with business leaders on effective organizational design.
Strong business and people acumen and ability to influence at all levels.
Strong analytic and data interpretation skills with an ability to apply quantitative analysis to HR data and synthesize into compelling stories to influence and drive leader decision-making.
Ability to partner across multiple teams within HR to deliver effective solutions.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Location This is a hybrid role requiring the selected candidate to work onsite four (4) days per week and be located within a commutable distance of the Nordstrom corporate offices in Seattle, WA.

Pay Range Details $110,500.00 - $183,000.00 Annual. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
