Admissions Representative

As an Admissions Representative, you will play a critical role in that mission by guiding prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment. This is a KPI-driven role where success is measured by activity, engagement, and enrollment outcomes, with clear performance expectations aligned to individual, team, and institutional goals. Essential Functions Student Engagement & Admissions Guidance
This role owns the full lifecycle of prospective student engagement, from initial inquiry through enrollment
Respond to phone, web, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Build rapport with prospective students and identify their educational and career goals
Schedule and conduct admissions interviews, providing clear, accurate, and complete information about programs and the admissions process
Guide prospective students through the decision-making and enrollment process
Present program content, length, academic requirements, and career outcomes in alignment with university standards
Evaluation & Process Management
Evaluate applicants' educational background and career objectives to determine appropriate program fit
Administer and communicate admissions assessment results, including coordinating retake opportunities as needed
Ensure all admissions activities comply with institutional policies and accrediting, state, and federal regulations
Provide approved student outcomes and institutional data to prospective students
Operations & Collaboration
Accurately track and manage all activity within CRM systems, including leads, calls, appointments, interviews, and enrollments
Coordinate with Financial Aid, Student Services, and Academic departments to support the admissions and onboarding process
Utilize all available tools and systems, including databases, phone systems, and internal platforms
Provide feedback to the Director of Admissions regarding trends, challenges, and process improvements
Attend departmental meetings, graduation ceremonies, and university events as required
Professional Standards & Service
Foster a professional and respectful environment aligned with the university's mission and values
Deliver outstanding customer service to all prospective students and university stakeholders
Maintain performance standards as measured by activity, outcomes, and quality of interactions
Continue progress toward individual, departmental, and institutional goals

Consistently meet or exceed defined KPIs, including outreach activity, scheduled interviews, follow-ups, and enrollments
Manage a structured pipeline of prospective students from inquiry through enrollment
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all admissions activity
Deliver a high-quality, student-centered admissions experience aligned with university standards
Demonstrate accountability for individual performance and contribution to team and campus enrollment goals

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
2+ years of experience in admissions, higher education, or a customer-facing role
Experience working in a goal-driven or performance-based environment preferred
Knowledge of higher education regulations and compliance standards is a plus
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a culturally diverse environment
Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office technology
Compensation
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Compensation is based on education, experience, and internal equity considerations
This is a performance-driven role with clearly defined KPIs and expectations; compensation is hourly and not commission-based, providing stability while reinforcing consistent performance and contribution to team outcomes
