Responsibilities
The Guest Services Director ensures that our patients/residents have a positive experience, receiving the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes the individuals\' needs and rights.
Responsible for the patient/resident satisfaction scores and response rates that result from the customer satisfaction survey within the nursing center
Collect data and report it to the Quality Improvement Committee on patient/resident satisfaction and customer service activity within the nursing center.
Resolve patient/residents\' concerns working with nursing center staff.
Train all new and existing staff in the Genesis approach to customer service and the benefits and value of involvement in Guest Services.
Manage the patient/customer discharge follow-up process.
Ensure successful transition of new patients/residents into nursing center within 48 hours of admission.
Confirm that all required patient/customer recreation documentation (Assessments, MDS, Care Plan, Progress Notes, etc.) is completed and up to date.
Establish and maintain an effective volunteer program through recruiting, screening, orienting, training, supervising, evaluating, and recognizing volunteers.
Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher is preferred. Two (2) years full-time experience in customer service/hospitality is preferred.
