To expand our team working out of the San Diego, CA or Santa Rosa, CA offices we are actively seeking an Architectural Designer.

Responsibilities The Designer works closely with the internal project team to create design and construction documents.
Prepare drawings in Revit that adhere to office standards
Assist project team/manager in developing construction documents for permitting, bidding and construction
Participate in multiple concurrent projects from start to finish during design development and construction documents phases
Develop and communicate design ideas and technical information related to the project including, but not limited to, design presentations, client meetings, detailing and hand sketching
Assists in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.
Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
Provides support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project
Generates graphic content for proposals, material boards, and design presentations
Qualifications Required:
Ability to function comfortably, gain trust, confidence, and deal effectively with a wide range of individuals including consultants, contractors, vendors, and the COAR team
Working experience/proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a fast-paced design environment
Well organized and efficient in completing tasks
Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field is required.
This position is primarily based in an office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
