
Executive Director - Habitat for Humanity

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall financial, operational, and administrative leadership of PMCHFH. This role works closely with the Board of Directors to implement organizational strategy, ensure fiscal responsibility, and advance the mission and long-term sustainability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership in alignment with the organization’s mission and Board directives Oversee financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and audit coordination Manage daily operations, administrative functions, and organizational compliance Lead fundraising initiatives, including grant writing and donor engagement Serve as the primary representative of the organization within the community Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including board members, donors, volunteers, and partner families Coordinate with construction leadership on project planning and volunteer engagement Ensure accurate reporting to state, federal, and Habitat for Humanity International entities Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, public relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 5 years of management experience preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and administrative management Knowledge of fundraising practices and grant writing preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships Commitment to the mission and values of the organization Additional Requirements
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends Successful completion of background, credit, and required screening checks
