Overview
The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a
Museum Program Associate – Marketing . The position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday with regular weekend work on Saturdays and Sundays, never more than every other weekend. Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler. Benefits

We are seeking a team member with a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented marketing professional with experience producing engaging marketing materials and promotional content for museum programs and events across a variety of platforms and media. An Associate degree in Marketing, Museum Studies, Communications or related field; and 2 years of experience in marketing, including one (1) year of supervisory experience; and A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. Desired qualifications
Experience managing multiple social media channels Ability to create engaging multimedia content Strong writing skills with experience interviewing and writing profile stories Experience editing and maintaining a website Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage content schedule Basic digital graphic design skills This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available. The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment. Applicants for employment and volunteer opportunities should be aware of the City of Chandler’s policies concerning the use of drugs and alcohol.
