Community Relations Director
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Relations Director to lead our efforts in building and maintaining strong relationships within the community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent our organization, foster positive engagement, and enhance our community presence through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote organizational goals and values.
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
Plan and coordinate community events, programs, and initiatives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community engagement aligns with organizational objectives.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community relations activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Represent the organization at community meetings, forums, and public events.
Create appealing print and digital advertisements and news releases in collaboration with key stakeholders that maintain the integrity of Mississippi County Hospital System mission, vision, and values.
Promote the organization’s services through active participation in civic events, community organizations, senior centers, employer groups, and other local venues.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, public relations, finance, or related field; master’s degree is advantageous.
Proven experience in community relations, business development, sales, or marketing.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Exceptional leadership and management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen.
