SUMMARY The Senior Consultant supports Kroger and CPG partners by delivering a single source of truth for supplier investment reporting, identifying opportunities to protect and grow supplier funding, and translating insights into actions that improve performance. The role blends analytics, stakeholder partnership, and change management to drive adoption of internal tools and embed insights into day‑to‑day decision‑making. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in analytics, category/commercial planning, retail/CPG, or consulting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain standardized reporting and analysis related to investments, spend, and performance.
Deliver executive‑level reporting that provides a single source of truth on investment health and performance.
Analyze investment trends to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement across investment portfolios.
Develop actionable insights and recommendations to optimize investment allocation across programs, categories, and time periods.
Monitor performance indicators and flag emerging trends or issues.
Partner with Kroger teams and key CPGs to review performance, align on priorities, and track actions through to execution.
Monitor KPIs and performance outcomes; communicate performance narratives that connect data and insights to broader business objectives.
Support development of capability requirements (data, reporting, measurement, governance) to inform the roadmap of internal tools.
Ensure data quality and consistency by validating inputs, aligning definitions, and improving reporting workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS
2–4 years of experience in analytics, retail/CPG, category management, revenue growth management, finance, or consulting.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and/or SQL preferred.
Ability to translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and executive‑ready storytelling.
Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable working “shoulder to shoulder” with internal teams and external partners.
Experience building repeatable reporting processes, dashboards, or performance scorecards with consistent definitions.
Project management fundamentals: prioritization, tracking actions, and delivering against timelines in a cross‑functional environment.
Change management mindset: ability to support training, adoption, and process improvements to embed new tools.
High attention to detail and comfort working with complex data sets and ambiguous problem statements.

The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest. Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for variable compensation.
