Membership Department
through thoughtful, service‑oriented outreach. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys making calls, building rapport, and helping organizations feel supported and valued.
Your conversations help nonprofit leaders stay connected to resources that strengthen board governance, excellence in nonprofit management, and increase their mission's impact across our community.
Location: in person / hybrid
Time commitment: 4+ hours per week (flexible)
What You’ll Do
Make member anniversary and renewal calls
Conduct at‑risk and win‑back outreach
Assist with high‑level IRS Form 990 reviews (training provided)
Capture notes and insights to support member success
(This is not a sales role—these are relationship‑based, mission‑driven conversations.)
Who We’re Looking For
Experience in customer service, member or donor relations, sales, or business development
Background in a service environment (banking, finance, professional services, nonprofit)
Comfortable and confident on the phone
Reliable, thoughtful, and people‑oriented
Well‑suited for retired or semi‑retired professionals
