Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist 1

Summary The Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist 1 manages the day-to-day servicing lifecycle for all performing installment loans secured by vehicles, RVs, watercraft, and powersports. The position is responsible for daily maintenance on installment loans, including daily and monthly reconciliation and remittance of funds.
Duties And Responsibilities
Analyze collateral documentation and loan information in the bank's servicing system (Hogan) and, as needed, update collateral records in the loan servicing system.
Follow up with business partners regarding missing or insufficient documents.
Analyze loan status to determine the appropriate resolution.
Prepare customer communication.
Manage workflow to ensure Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded.
Process work such as mail sorting, check processing, data entry, document retrieval and review, and account research.
Respond to both internal and external customer requests through written and verbal communication.
Assist in developing and maintaining department procedures.
Adhere to written policies and procedures and be regularly audited to ensure compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One or more years’ experience in a customer service‑related position.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access – ability to create and edit basic Word and Excel documents.
Prior customer service experience is helpful.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Detail‑oriented and thorough.
Demonstrated dependability (attendance).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment adhering to established SLA targets and quality requirements.
