Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Property Manager to provide outstanding customer service to residents, potential tenants, and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of leasing procedures and property management processes, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and efficient handling of tenant requests. Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to residents, potential tenants, and vendors. Acquire thorough knowledge of the lease to effectively solve problems. Develop strong working relationships with maintenance staff and vendors to facilitate timely completion of tenant requests. Master the leasing workflow, learning procedures from lead to move-in. Complete lease administration duties related to documenting tenant move-in activities. Maintain complete and accurate lease and property files. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines. Facilitate the successful completion of tenant maintenance requests. Enter and monitor maintenance work requests to ensure they are handled timely and completely. Follow-up with maintenance staff if work orders are not closed timely. Follow-up with tenants once work is reported as complete. Assist the Resident Manager with apartment inspections, move-ins, and move-outs. Essential Skills

2+ years of property support experience or strong administrative experience with a welcoming personality. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software. Excellent attendance and punctuality is required. Ability to walk for 30-60 minutes showing apartments across the property. Must be available to work weekends on a rotating basis or as needed (every 3 weeks). This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McLean, VA. The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $36.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
