
Pricing Analyst

Overview
Join the dynamic team at Georgia-Pacific Packaging. We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to support our corrugated packaging division. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams, analyze and process quoting requests for new and existing customers, and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process from start to finish, including submitting quotes in the preferred customer format. Bids can span multiple months and rounds. Pricing Analysts develop Decision-Making Framework (DMF) models for leadership reviews and approvals. Each role supports opportunities within a specific region across our multiple facilities nationwide. This position offers opportunities for growth within the GP/Koch organization. Location: onsite at GP HQ in downtown Atlanta, GA with a hybrid schedule (remote work plus three days in the office weekly). Local applicants or those willing to relocate to the area are welcome. Quote Management: Manage and process all requests for quotes within the configure-price-quote system ( Pricing and Analysis: Utilize pricing bands and Revenue Management tools to develop accurate quotes; analyze bids to identify profitable opportunities and the best-fit plants for production; create new item standard cost estimates and adjust pricing for current items due to specification changes or manufacturing updates; develop and present business cases/DMFs for leadership review and approval. Bid Coordination: Coordinate on complex bids and items with the Pricing Manager as needed. Analytical Support: Provide analytical support for the Corrugated business and generate relevant reports; perform advanced commercial reviews, variance analysis, and key performance observations; make recommendations for profitability improvements. Data Management: Capture win/loss data on quotes by gathering information from sales representatives and updating the CRM; ensure opportunity data quality and accuracy. Industry Awareness and Improvement: Stay informed about category trends and manufacturing processes; seek and share knowledge, identify opportunities for improvement, challenge the status quo, and propose solutions. Cultural Alignment: Promote and reinforce the Principled Based Management (PBM) culture by applying guiding principles. Who You Are (Qualifications)
Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Analysis, Pricing, or related roles. Analytical thinker with attention to detail, able to build relationships and solve problems collaboratively. Flexible and able to prioritize in a dynamic environment; open to change and process improvement. Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with customers and internal stakeholders via various channels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel; willingness to learn new systems and tools. Ability to travel occasionally to supported manufacturing sites, including overnight stays up to 10-15% of the time. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa transfer or sponsorship. What Will Put You Ahead
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline. Experience with financial statements and understanding key drivers. Advanced MS Excel skills, including modeling assumptions, complex formulas, and pivot tables. Experience in Packaging, Consumer Products, or Manufacturing industries.
