Cabinet Finisher Opportunity
Adecco is partnering with a great client in Saint Cloud Minnesota to hire a Cabinet Finisher for this exciting contract to hire opportunity. This position will mostly be helping prepare outgoing shipments where a delicate touch is needed. Shift: 6am 3:30pm Monday-Thursday Friday 6am-10am 3 month contract to hire Pay $18-$20 Plan and organize daily projects. Obtain daily work order (JPR). Plan the methods for finishing project, based on blueprints or oral or written instructions. Estimate the amounts, types, or costs of materials needed. Estimate the number of work orders to be completed by the end of the day. Prepare finishing materials Determine specific primer, paint, lacquer, stain for projects using work order. Obtain primer, paint, lacquer, stain for specific project. Develop custom stains for custom cabinetry using mixing formula sheet. Check proper installation of paint in spray gun. Prepare equipment according to work order. Reference formulas using computer. Prepare projects for application Visually inspect project's surface to ensure quality. Remove sanded residue with compressed air. Disassembling packaging to prepare wood projects. Count incoming projects according to work order. Prepare surfaces using sander. Application of finishing material Spray paint or stain in a walking motion using spray gun. Place final wood project onto stabilizing cart. Dry wood projects on drying racks. Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities between departments. Paint unpainted side using spray gun. Complete work order reports using pen or pencil.
