Commercial Lines Account Manager Our team is growing and we are looking for a “people person” passionate about working with customers. If you enjoy managing your own clients and working with a team, this role is a good fit. As the Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will service and retain commercial lines insurance clients and support Producers and/or AEs in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business. In this role you will Maintain a book of commercial accounts Coordinate processing of all commercial lines new and renewal business Work with producers to ensure synergy with HUB corporate goals, carrier requirements and client needs Prepare quotations and new client proposals Complete new business applications: upload applications using the appropriate company automation system and see them through to policy issue Review all new policies for accuracy Process endorsements and renewals through communication/interfacing with clients and companies Process invoices and credits for agency‑billed business Process cancellations according to procedure manual Pursue professional studies and maintain familiarity with trends in industry and new insurance products Improve/refine professional skills through continuing education Maintain account files in accordance with established procedures Gather underwriting, pricing, and supporting data for preparation of submission Generate applicable reports Establish and maintain good working relationships with company sales representatives, service centers, underwriting and claim representatives Assist in training other employees Required Qualifications Current Property/Casualty Insurance License 3‑5 years of brokerage experience High school diploma required; college degree preferred Understanding and analysis of insurance coverages, forms, and policies Above‑average math skills Strong written, oral, and phone communication skills Ability to organize, set, and maintain priorities Basic knowledge/experience with an agency management system Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office What you’ll bring to the role Client‑focused mindset and strong problem‑solving skills Ability to collaborate across teams and regions Strong communication and relationship‑building capabilities Initiative, adaptability, and alignment with HUB values Benefits Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Medical, dental, vision, and voluntary insurance options Health Savings Account (HSA) funding 401(k) with company match Company‑paid life insurance and short‑term disability Optional supplemental life and long‑term disability Wellness programs and resources Paid parental leave Generous paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick, and personal time) Strong work‑life balance Career growth and development in a rapidly expanding organization A collaborative, high‑performing team culture Community impact through HUB Gives Core Values Entrepreneurship: We encourage innovation and thoughtful risk‑taking Integrity: We do the right thing—every time Teamwork: We work together to achieve the best results Accountability: We take ownership of outcomes Service: We serve our clients, communities, and one another Culture & Belonging At HUB International, we are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
