Summary The Director, Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) is responsible for the strategic oversight, formulary development, implementation, and management of pharmacy benefit programs. This role ensures cost‑effective, clinically appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services while optimizing member/patient outcomes. The Director partners with internal stakeholders, pharmacy benefit managers, brokers, vendors, and clinical teams to drive performance, regulatory compliance, and innovation in pharmacy benefit delivery.
Education
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
Experience
Seven‑Ten (7‑10) years of experience in Pharmacy Benefits, Managed Care or Healthcare Administration.
Includes at least 3‑5 years in a leadership or management role.
Credentials
Florida Pharmacist license required.
Florida Consultant Pharmacy license preferred.
