Job Summary The
Server/Bartender
provides excellent food and beverage service during on-site audit engagements, ensuring that meals and drinks are delivered in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. This role is key in maintaining a positive and comfortable dining experience for the audit team and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take and process food and drink orders accurately
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes
Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify guest age when required
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and garnishes
Ensure that tables and bar areas are clean, organized, and properly set for service
Monitor guests' needs throughout service and respond promptly
Collaborate with kitchen and prep staff to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery
Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
Maintain knowledge of menu items, drink recipes, specials, and dietary restrictions
Handle payment transactions, including cash and card processing, and return change or receipts
Assist with clearing tables, washing glassware, and resetting service areas
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous server and/or bartending experience preferred
Knowledge of basic mixology and beverage preparation
Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on hospitality
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from supervisors
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or beverage items (with or without accommodations)
Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours depending on the audit schedule
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in service or dining setup
