About the Role and Our Team The Senior Director, Consumer Marketing is a senior marketing leader responsible for developing and leading the integrated marketing strategy across The Knot’s U.S. consumer brands and products. This role drives full‑funnel marketing programs that build brand affinity, acquire and engage couples throughout their planning journey, and accelerate growth across The Knot’s ecosystem.

The Senior Director will bring together brand storytelling, data‑driven growth marketing, and consumer lifecycle expertise to deliver cohesive, high‑impact marketing programs across paid, owned, earned, and partner channels. The Senior Director will play a critical role in identifying the highest‑impact opportunities for the business, prioritizing initiatives across channels and teams, and ensuring marketing investments drive both short‑term performance and long‑term brand equity. Partnering closely with marketing leadership and cross‑functional partners across product, brand, insights, and channel teams, this leader will orchestrate integrated campaigns and programs that reflect a deep understanding of the wedding planning journey and evolving consumer needs.

Responsibilities

Lead Consumer Marketing Strategy: Own the integrated consumer marketing strategy across The Knot’s U.S. brands and products, ensuring cohesive programs that drive awareness, engagement, and growth.

Build and Lead a High‑Performing Team: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of marketers responsible for integrated campaign strategy and execution. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and creative excellence.

Drive Integrated Marketing Programs: Develop and oversee cross‑channel marketing programs that bring together brand storytelling and performance marketing to drive measurable business outcomes.

Set Strategic Priorities Across Initiatives: Identify and prioritize the highest‑impact marketing initiatives across channels, teams, and business objectives.

Develop the Consumer Marketing Calendar: Lead the planning and execution of the annual consumer marketing calendar across U.S. brands.

Drive Data‑Informed Decision Making: Establish reporting rigor, dashboards, and leverage consumer insights, competitive intelligence, analytics, and experimentation to continuously refine marketing strategies.

Lead Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Business Managers, and Marketing leadership (Product Marketing, Creative, CRM, Media, and Insights teams) to develop cohesive campaigns and product go‑to‑market plans.

Ensure Strong Brand & Product Positioning: Guide the development of messaging strategies that clearly communicate The Knot’s value propositions to couples while strengthening brand differentiation and relevance in the market.

Optimize Marketing Investment and Impact: Evaluate program performance and marketing investment effectiveness to ensure initiatives deliver measurable impact and support sustainable growth.

Executive Communication & Influence: Present marketing strategies, campaign performance, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key decisions and aligning stakeholders around shared priorities.

Successful Candidates Have

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in brand and integrated marketing, with a strong background in e‑commerce, digital performance marketing, and promotional strategy.

Proven success optimizing marketing calendars and channel strategies to achieve revenue goals.

Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional programs that drive measurable business impact.

Deep understanding of digital media, CRM, onsite experience, and conversion optimization.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and storytelling skills.

Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, driving vision while ensuring flawless execution.

Track record of managing and developing high‑performing marketing teams.

Strong executive presence and the ability to influence across senior leadership and stakeholders.

Work Model This role is Together@TKWW‑eligible and based near one of our office hubs. Starting September 15, 2025, you’ll be expected to work in the office two days a week as part of our hybrid work model.
