If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a Permanent Civil Estimator who has a strong grip on cost control, cost management, negotiation, and project estimation. You will be playing a key role in our dynamic team, contributing to the growth and success of our company. Responsibilities: As a Civil Estimator, your core responsibilities will include: 1. Developing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements. 2. Evaluating subcontractor proposals and making recommendations to the management. 3. Conducting risk and opportunity assessments to minimize the financial risk to the company. 4. Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on project cost estimates. 5. Reviewing design options and recommending best solutions based on cost, quality, and availability of materials. 6. Providing cost control and cost management throughout the lifecycle of a project. 7. Participating in negotiations and discussions with contractors and suppliers. 8. Preparing and submitting financial reports to the management. 9. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in cost estimation. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the position of Civil Estimator should possess the following qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in civil estimation within the construction industry. 3. Proficiency in cost control, cost management, negotiation, and project estimation. 4. Solid understanding of construction methodologies, material, and project management principles. 5. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills. 6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 7. Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and estimating software. 8. Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions. 9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
