Job Details We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer Manager with direct, hands‑on experience in data acquisition and/or test & measurement systems to support highly technical customers and global partners. This role is deeply technical and execution‑focused, ideal for a sales engineer who has sold, supported, or implemented DAQ or test platforms and thrives working directly with test engineers, validation teams, and lab environments. The position blends customer‑facing technical sales with close collaboration across engineering, applications, and product teams. Key Responsibilities Own and execute complex, consultative sales cycles for data acquisition and test & measurement systems, from technical discovery through close. Engage directly with test engineers, validation teams, and engineering stakeholders to understand data capture, sampling, sensor integration, and test requirements. Support customers operating in regulated and mission‑critical environments, including aerospace and defense qualification and certification testing. Partner closely with internal engineering, applications, and product teams to develop and deliver tailored DAQ and sensor‑based solutions. Manage and grow a territory focused on Asia Pacific, working with a mix of existing customers, new business opportunities, and an established network of sales partners. Represent the organization at select customer sites and industry events, including limited international travel. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. 5+ years of direct experience with data acquisition (DAQ) and/or test & measurement systems as a primary product or solution. Hands‑on experience working in or selling into test labs, validation environments, or qualification programs. Experience with rugged sensors, high‑speed data acquisition, or safety‑critical test systems preferred. Ability to engage in engineer‑to‑engineer technical discussions around data capture, validation, sensor performance, and test workflows. Proven success in technical sales, sales engineering, or applications engineering roles supporting complex systems. Background supporting aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated test environments. Travel Expectations Territory supports Asia Pacific customers, including China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. International travel is limited to approximately 2–4 trips per year, consisting of customer visits and key industry events.
