Why join us? 401K Match Health Insurance Team Environment Truck Allowance Per Diem Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our highly skilled team. This role is for a passionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to travel and work on various commercial construction projects across the country. The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in framing and a proven track record of successful project completion. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project development from initiation to closure. 2. Be accountable for project results along with project sponsor. 3. Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing. 4. Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task. 5. Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed. 6. Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders. 7. Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle. 8. Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms. 9. Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to sponsor. 10. Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis. 11. Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved. 12. Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution. 13. Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field. 2. At least 5 years of experience in a commercial construction environment. 3. Proven experience in framing and other relevant construction skills. 4. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment. 5. Strong leadership and management skills. 6. Excellent problem-solving abilities. 7. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. 8. Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints. 9. Proficient in construction project management software. 10. Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments. 11. A proven track record of completing projects to specifications and within budget and timeline. 12. Must possess a valid driver’s license. 13. OSHA 30 certification or equivalent is preferred. 14. The ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
