About the Role Will oversee and lead the operations in assembly, fulfillment, dock or inventory. Must be detailed oriented, have the ability to follow directions and organized.
What You'll Do
Provide direct oversight and lead assigned personnel in achieving schedule, and productivity.
Create and maintain work schedule, minimum 1-week dates of order, total amount of orders and people required.
Lead tier 1 meeting and update tier 1 meeting board daily.
Perform weekly toolbox talk.
Perform daily 5s inspection
Perform monthly 5s audit
Request forklift maintenance & training for new employees.
Replenish non-inventory supplies.
Create and maintain PTO calendar
Run shipping report daily for status of order and upcoming orders.
Train all fulfilment general skills, except forklift.
Palletize, wrap and strap pallets properly.
Pick orders in RF Smart
QC of picks
Take photos of pallets
Perform work order picking.
Organize, stage and load outbound shipments.
Communicate discrepancies, concerns and questions with customer service shipping.
Check BOL, packing slip, pallet label match, correct count of pallets.
Verify BOL number with driver
Perform and plan replenishment
Communicate discrepancy to team lead? What discrepancies??
Must be able to operate pallet jack, wrapper, forklift and reach truck.
Bin inquiries and transfers and item look up????
Dynamic and directed stock count.
Kitting, assembling and reboxing parts
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and personnel are utilizing appropriate tools for assigned task(s).
Ensure personnel are prepared for current and next task(s) as specified.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
1 year experience in manufacturing/assembly environment
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives.
Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers.
Ability to remain organized.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
