The Firm has an opening in its Boston office for an Immigration Paralegal. The Immigration Paralegal will prepare and file all USCIS forms and draft supporting legal letters for all types of visas/applications/petitions.

Responsibilities

Assist and support attorney in the preparation and filing of various non-immigrant petitions such as H-1Bs, L-1A/Bs, E-3, E-2, TN, O-1 and P Visas.

Assist and support attorney in the preparation of various immigrant matters such as PERMs, EB 1-3 I-140s, I-485s and Naturalization.

Maintain communication with clients throughout lifecycle of case.

Liaise with relevant government agencies including USCIS, ICE, CBP, US Department of State, and US Department of Labor.

Analyze, review and organize documents and data from materials produced; and prepare/coordinate document production and responses to requests for evidence.

Review/prepare job descriptions.

Assist attorneys with gathering evidence, preparing declarations and supporting documents, preparing evidence and exhibits, and complying with procedural requirements and filing deadlines for cases in the Immigration Court when needed.

Assist and support attorney in obtaining civil and criminal court records for immigration matters.

Analyze and review case details to determine future actions.

Prepare responses to audit requests.
