CATS is ITAR compliant and welcomes FMF contracts and pass-through procurement for U.S. origin products.

The 90,000 square foot modern facility in Central Florida is minutes from Orlando International Airport and includes a spacious office area, five production clean rooms, high-bay area and ERP integrated warehouse.

Job Summary Trade Compliance Associate (entry‑level) ensures the company’s adherence to import and export regulations.

The associate reviews trade documents, classifies goods, monitors compliance, and assists with audits, supporting compliant international trade operations.

Training will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support functions of the Trade Compliance Office in administering an effective Trade Compliance program to ensure company conformance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.

Assist with generation of commercial invoices.

File Electronic Export Information (EEI).

Assist in internal export compliance audits, risk assessments, and process improvement plans.

Maintain all required export/import documentation.

Analyze potential export compliance issues.

Train employees in proper handling of export‑controlled hardware and technical data and provide training related to specific export authorizations.

Analyze and interpret export and import regulations.

Maintain current knowledge of regulatory updates.

Draft, process, and track export license application packages (DECCS and SNAP‑R).

Support and assist with processing of temporary and permanent imports.

Basic Employment Requirements

General knowledge and understanding of ITAR, EAR, AES is a plus.

Harmonized Tariff Schedule / Schedule B knowledge is a plus.

Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills.

Effective communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).

Intermediate/advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

Preparation of international shipping documentation is a plus.

Working experience in a law office environment is a plus.

Education and/or Experience

BA/BS degree or relevant work experience is required.

The work environment is a professional office/manufacturing setting.

9/80 work schedule or as assigned by manager.
