Overview The Warehouse Worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area, driving truck or van to and from vendors, completing preventive maintenance requirements on truck and van, arranging for repairs, collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
Shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
Operate forklift, pallet jacks, or order‑picker safely with peripheral vision
Place and/or pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse
Ensure that all trucks unloaded have wheels chocked before unloading begins
Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations
Stock forward pick locations in the bottle room and the full case line in a neat and orderly manner
Restock bottle and case returns from customer orders
Pick VIA orders for Salesmen and Customers
Store out‑of‑place product, 360 product and 370 product as directed by the supervisor
Sort pallets by size
Handle broken cases, re‑boxing good bottles and sending broken ones to dump location
Leave equipment in good order and free of trash for next shift
Maintain cleanliness of assigned warehouse area
Perform all duties safely
Wear all company‑issued safety equipment
Report any equipment or building damage to a supervisor promptly
Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
1 year of experience
Experience operating forklift, pallet jack and battery change station
Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Demands
Considerable time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting and stooping
Frequent lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying or pulling up to 48 pounds
Regularly sit and operate machinery such as forklift, pallet jacks, battery change station
Repetitive motions, varying heights and exposure to warehouse conditions
Extended hours, overtime, weekends and peak‑season schedules may be required
