As a Technical Editing professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s reputation. We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist who is ready to share your knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll use your skills and experience to design, develop, produce, and advise on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). As a Technical Editor on our team, you’ll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self‑guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to deliver high quality intelligence products in support of our client. As the organizational advisor of all aspects of verbal and written communications, you’ll oversee and author various intelligence products and content. Your creative‑thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through products and various tools. Experience with writing and editing professional products for multiple audiences Knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides Ability to manage competing priorities and meet often tight deadlines Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with technical editing in a DoD or IC environment, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with technical editing in a DoD or IC environment Nice If You Have
Experience in an Intelligence Analyst or support role Experience supporting senior leaders Knowledge of DoD or IC systems and processes TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Work Model
