Overview COSCO Fire Protection

is a multifaceted, full‑service fire sprinkler and life safety systems company specializing in the installation, service and inspection of a wide variety of automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, kitchen suppression, extinguishers and special hazard systems throughout the West Coast. We are expanding our service operations across all district locations and offer tremendous opportunities for service‑mindful individuals in the fire protection/life safety marketplace.

Responsibilities

Conduct the sales activities of the Service Department.

Formulate and develop sales goals, plans and procedures for the service department. Implement sales strategies as set forth by the District Manager.

Execute assigned sales activities.

Pay adequate attention to attaining profit objectives, especially those derived from management’s goals.

Adhere to sales strategies.

Maintain competitive pricing and customer service to keep Cosco Fire Protection, Inc. competitive and profitable.

Seek new customers to expand Cosco’s customer base.

Ensure all proposals and contracts are processed and any information required for client billing is provided to bookkeeping personnel promptly.

Develop and maintain customer relationships through quotes, anticipating needs, resolving concerns and complaints, and providing technical support.

Provide customer service that meets or exceeds company standards and maximizes customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

Three or more years of successful sales experience, preferably with Fire Protection and Life Safety products and systems.

BA degree in business or related field.

Exceptional presentation skills with demonstrated sales techniques.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proven ability to manage a territory with minimum supervision.

Demonstrated leadership and proven negotiation skills and sales achievements.

Self‑motivated with a dedicated client‑services focus and strong desire to succeed.

Ability to work well independently as well as be a team player.

Understanding of codes as they apply to Fire Protection Life Safety Systems is a plus.

Valid driver’s license.

Must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening.

Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this sales position is a generous base plus commission program and will be eligible for a company vehicle or monthly car allowance. Cosco provides excellent wages and company benefits to qualified applicants.
