Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Business Development Sales Representative, based in Somerset, NJ. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and promoting the company's fire protection and safety solutions. The representative will be expected to develop detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth by meeting sales goals. Additional responsibilities include conducting market research, attending networking events, and collaborating with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and relationship building
Proficiency in negotiation, contract management, and client communications
Experience in market research, lead generation, and industry networking
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Knowledge or experience in fire protection, safety equipment, or related industries is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
