We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Capital Markets Operations Analyst
to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a process-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced financial environment and enjoys working with complex transactions and client relationships.
Position Overview As a
Capital Markets Operations Analyst , you will play a critical role in supporting loan and securities transactions by processing and overseeing money movements, ensuring compliance with established controls, and maintaining accuracy across portfolios. You will serve as a key liaison between clients and internal teams while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage moderately complex deals, including actively managed portfolios with high-volume, time-sensitive activity
Process and validate trade, funding, and payment transactions in accordance with client instructions, contractual agreements, and internal controls
Monitor transaction activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues by interpreting complex legal and financial documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve trade, funding, and reporting discrepancies in a timely manner
Review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback as needed
Support training and onboarding of new or less experienced analysts on systems, processes, and best practices
Participate in departmental and client-driven projects, including system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement initiatives
Identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and proactively support risk management in alignment with company policies and frameworks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in securities operations, corporate trust, banking, or financial services
Strong understanding of financial transactions, loan servicing, or securities processing
Ability to interpret complex legal and financial documentation
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and client service skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
