At Pocono Springs our Waterfront program includes but is not limited to Swim Instruction, Free Swim and Swim Team in our pool, and Aqua Playground, Small Crafts (canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding) and our Waterski Program in our private 16-acre Lake!

Responsibilities
Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 lifeguards and swim instructors, ensuring high spirits and professional standards across both the pool and lake.
Dual-Facility Oversight:
Oversee operations for our heated pool and our private 16-acre, spring-fed lake (including the inflatable aqua park, kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing).
Safety First:
Serve as the primary authority on water safety; ensure all American Red Cross protocols are strictly followed and that daily safety checks are performed.
Staff Training:
Lead or assist in American Red Cross Lifeguard training during orientation and provide ongoing "in-service" training throughout the summer.
Instructional Lead:
Oversee the "Learn to Swim" program, ensuring campers of all levels are progressing and having fun in the water.
Inventory & Logistics:
Manage all aquatics equipment (PFDs, rescue tubes, lane lines, boats) to ensure everything is inventoried, clean, and well-maintained.
Growth & Coaching:
Provide constant feedback to your team, including two formal written evaluations with face-to-face coaching sessions to help your staff grow as professionals.
