Communications Specialist
ProSidian seeks a Communications Specialist for program support on a contract basis, generally located across the CONUS - Richland, Washington, supporting DOE EM Hanford in a federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment. This role requires candidates with relevant experience in the Environmental Management Sector, with expertise in functional and technical areas. The position is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) administrative support, communications, public affairs, and stakeholder relations functional area professional. Responsibilities include providing seamless administrative support and communications to strengthen stakeholder trust, public engagement, and Hanford mission success daily. Desired qualifications include 58+ years of communications/public affairs experience, DOE experience is helpful. Education requirements include a BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, or related field. Skills required include writing, facilitation, media, and event planning. Competencies required include clarity, diplomacy, and listening. Evening meetings may be possible.
