Loan Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Specialist to support the Servicing Team. This role is responsible for servicing and maintaining consumer loan and line accounts, including Home Equity, Small Business, Auto, and Personal products. The Loan Specialist ensures accurate processing, documentation, and ongoing account maintenance in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. This position is fully onsite and requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you are interested, please apply, and one of our recruiters will reach out to you.
Responsibilities
Perform loan and line maintenance by processing routine, non-exceptional transactions, including:
Payment postings and payoff processing Autopay setup, changes, and maintenance Address changes and basic account updates
Complete Federal Reserve Loan and Line Pledging activities using established checklists Conduct routine audit and quality control reviews based on predefined criteria Perform follow-up outreach to dealerships to obtain outstanding title documentation Track receipt and status of title-related documentation Assist with duplicate title requests and preparation of required documentation Perform data validation by comparing system records to source documentation Prepare new consumer loan and line documents for imaging and record retention Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including accurate data entry, validation, and spreadsheet maintenance Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and completeness Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and elevate issues appropriately Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow established processes and checklists Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
