First project in Hanover NH (construction already underway) Multi-division company with over 600 employees, services include: construction, real estate development, equipment leasing, utility management Focus on energy, water, wastewater, commercial (offices & labs), industrial, and institutional sectors for clients across MA, NH, CT 4 core principles: Safety, People, Profitability, New Business Generation *Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application* Description The Superintendent is responsible for: On-site daily in Hanover, NH (project already underway). Leading field operations and providing technical oversight on projects exceeding $20M. Driving safe, timely, and profitable project delivery. Managing day-to-day site operations, including subcontractor and trade coordination. Enforcing safety standards and promoting a strong safety-first culture. Driving project schedules and sequencing to meet key milestones. Supporting cost control and field productivity to align with financial goals. Interpreting drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure quality execution. Leading site meetings, tracking progress, and resolving field issues. Coordinating with project teams, clients, and engineers to maintain alignment. Overseeing technical scopes, including utilities, mechanical, and electrical work. Mentoring and developing field staff to drive team performance. Profile The right candidate has the following qualifications: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 5+ years as a Site Superintendent. Proven track record managing projects $20M+ and leading large-scale projects $40M+. Experience delivering projects for institutional clients (higher education, healthcare, government) or complex industrial facilities. High school diploma or technical training required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Strong technical expertise across multiple disciplines, such as deep utilities, water/wastewater, drilling, duct banks, or steam/condensate systems. Proven ability to lead safe, efficient job sites with a strong focus on coordination, safety, and execution. Solid understanding of cost control, scheduling, safety, and key technical scopes (mechanical systems, electrical, and labor agreements). Proficiency with contract documents, drawings, specifications, survey/layout, and construction methods. Experience with construction technology, including Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project). OSHA 30 certification required. Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. Construction Supervisor License (CSL) or ability to obtain within 12 months. Ability to obtain and maintain required Operator Qualifications (OQs) for gas utility work (company supported). Valid U.S. driver's license, DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain), and ability to pass required screenings (drug test, background, MVR).
