Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process to educate and encourage patients and their families, focusing on achieving rehabilitation goals and quality outcomes.

Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses according to policy.

Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from admission to ensure smooth transitions.

Communicate patient status changes effectively to team members, including physicians and charge nurses, ensuring continuity and safety of care.

Supervise, train, and provide guidance to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately.

Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols including infection control, safe patient handling, and workplace hazard identification.

Participate in team-building activities and contribute positively to a supportive and efficient work environment.

Manage resources prudently to promote cost-effective and high-quality care.

Engage in professional development and be prepared to assume charge responsibilities after orientation.

Desired Qualifications:
