Smalltown Dental is a fast-growing doctor‑led dental organization with multiple locations across Central Illinois. We are building something different, combining the resources of a larger group with the culture and autonomy of private practice. We’re looking for a Marketing Director to lead growth across patient acquisition, doctor recruitment, and brand development. This is a results‑driven leadership role, not a coordinator position. Marketing Operations & Leadership Leads the in‑house marketing function, managing workflows, prioritization, and performance expectations Oversees the expansion of the marketing team, aligning roles, responsibilities, and workflows to support scalable growth Identifies process inefficiencies and implements improvements, reporting insights and strategies to leadership Develops systems, SOPs, and infrastructure to support long‑term growth Oversees quality assurance for all deliverables, ensuring brand consistency and high standards Manages media buying across digital and traditional channels to maximize reach and ROI Establishes performance metrics and accountability standards for internal teams and external partners Aligns marketing strategy with broader business objectives, supporting expansion and revenue growth Patient Growth Drives new patient acquisition across all locations through data‑driven marketing strategies Manages digital channels such as website & social profiles performance Leads agency partnerships to plan and execute campaigns, analyze performance, and implement optimization strategies to improve ROI Identifies under‑performing locations and implements targeted growth strategies Doctor Recruitment Marketing Develops and executes recruitment campaigns to attract dentists and team members Builds recruitment funnels, including landing pages and branded content Positions the organization as a top destination for clinical talent Brand, Content & Media Oversees brand consistency across all channels, including website, social media, and print materials Develops and directs content strategy, including patient education, team spotlights, and recruiting campaigns Oversees organic and paid content distribution and social promotion across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reels) Transforms content into high‑performing marketing assets (ads, clips, campaigns) Internal Communication Develops and manages the monthly Smalltown Spotlight newsletter, highlighting updates, wins, and team achievements Supports internal alignment through consistent communication and storytelling Events & Brand Experience Plans and executes grand openings, community events, and internal initiatives Oversees branded materials, signage, and promotional assets Enhances local presence through community engagement efforts What We’re Looking For Experience in marketing, growth, or brand leadership Strong understanding of digital marketing (ads, SEO, analytics) Ability to manage vendors and hold them accountable Organized, self‑driven, and results‑oriented Strong communication and creative thinking skills Bonus Experience with video, podcasting, or content creation Healthcare or dental marketing background Familiarity with AI tools in marketing Compensation & Benefits Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (based on experience) Performance‑based bonuses tied to growth Leadership opportunity in a rapidly growing company Why Smalltown Dental High‑growth organization with strong leadership Opportunity to build and shape the marketing function Direct impact on company expansion Collaborative, team‑focused culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
