Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a direct hire Order Fulfillment Manager for a distribution service in Amherst, NY!
Salary: $75-90,000K, DOE
Schedule: 100% onsite, Monday-Friday
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Process Ownership & Improvement
Own and improve end-to-end order processes from entry through fulfillment.
Identify inefficiencies, implement corrective actions, and standardize processes.
Lead root cause analysis and strengthen controls to prevent recurring issues.
Performance & KPIs
Define, track, and report KPIs to drive performance and accountability.
Support dashboard development for leadership visibility.
Leadership & Team Development
Set clear expectations and foster accountability.
Coach and develop team members while promoting continuous improvement.
Quality & Compliance
Manage nonconformance tracking and maintain SOPs.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner across Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Purchasing to improve outcomes.
Support ERP and system enhancements impacting order processing.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in customer service, order management, or operational management
Strong experience in KPI development, performance management, and process improvement
Experience with ERP systems data reporting tools and Business applications
Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, including order fulfillment, inventory flow, shopping processes, transportation coordination, and warehouse operations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with supply chain and distribution teams to resolve fulfillment constraints and improve end-to-end customer experience
