Overview We are seeking an experienced
Drafter III
to support a design team within a refinery environment. This role will focus on updating and maintaining technical drawings using AutoCAD, incorporating redlines from engineering and design teams, and supporting document control processes.
Key Responsibilities Update and revise drawings in
AutoCAD
based on redlines from Design Technicians Incorporate updates from
Management of Change (MOC)
processes Support
Document Control
by ensuring accuracy and consistency of drawings Provide general drafting support to the engineering/design team Conduct
field walkdowns
in a refinery environment to verify drawings and conditions Ensure compliance with drafting standards, methods, and best practices
Required Qualifications Proven experience in a
drafting role Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software) Knowledge of drafting standards, methods, and practices Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work safely in both office and
industrial/refinery environments High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications Experience in
refining, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries Familiarity with
SAP
and/or
Falcon
systems
