Channel Marketing Manager
Luxor is looking for an ambitious, strategic-minded, fast-paced Channel Manager who will drive significant growth through account/channel development over the next several years. The Channel Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and margin improvement with key customers for Luxor. This role works closely with both Sales and Marketing to drive revenue growth through new product launches, expansion of current product offerings, improvement in merchandising, promotions, etc. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Drive growth with key B2B customers by partnering with account managers to understand customer needs, identify growth opportunities, and align marketing initiatives with sales objectives. Create and implement trade marketing programs, promotions, and campaigns tailored to key accounts and distribution partners. Ensure Luxor products are effectively merchandised and marketed across all channels of key customers, including e-commerce and the various BTB vertical market teams. Analyze pricing, promotional strategies, and product mix to enhance profitability for both Luxor and its partners. Oversee marketing development funds and co-op programs to ensure ROI and compliance. Track and report on campaign effectiveness, sales lift, and customer engagement metrics. Work with Sales and Marketing teams to drive development of the high-growth channel portfolio strategies. Analyze, track and report on channel sales and trends against budgeted and forecasted plans, alerting team of positive and negative trends, and recommending responsive actions. Give feedback to Marketing and Product Development teams on improvements that can be made to current products, trends in the marketplace and new product ideas. Visit customers with the Sales team as needed to present growth strategies. Other duties and responsibilities include: Conduct business reviews and performance assessments with partners to support joint business planning and identify growth opportunities. Interacting with other departments establishes and maintains very positive working relationships with other teams. Participation in industry/customer trade shows, conferences, and events as needed. Assists Marketing and New Channel Development (NPD) teams with educating the sales teams on market insights, channels, channel marketing materials, spec sheets, social media campaigns, etc. as needed. As needed, coordinate product training with Customer Service and Sales teams to drive consistent messaging and optimal channel execution. Skills and abilities required include: Goal-oriented, proactive self-starter. Strong time management skills. Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from management, clients, and other employees of the organization. Strong written and verbal skills. Proven data analysis skills. Superior organizational skills. Works collaboratively and excels in a team environment. Solid knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts, and practices. Experience with the New Channel Development process and lifecycle (especially durable goods and technology channels). Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to travel overall less than 20% but may be heavier at times as needed. Education and experience required: A Business or Marketing degree is preferred. An MBA is a plus. Minimum 5 years of work experience in Channel Management, Marketing, and/or Sales within commercial or industrial environments. Experience working with resellers in MRO and other B2B channels a plus.
