New Goods Pricer
Mission Contribution: To support the activities of the New Goods Department to maximize profitability. Essential Responsibilities: Sort, pull, and prepare new merchandise in dandux to be sent to GGC's according to New Goods SOP. Help maintain a record of quantities, item specifications, dates, and location that items are being sent. Meet and often exceed production goals of 5 dandux per day. Ensuring that goods are continually flowing to GGC's. Utilize internet resources to assist with pricing Close-Out merchandise based off current retail value. Assist with pulling case packs from pallets preparing them to be priced. Help maintain a weekly record of inventory for replenishment ordering. Assist with performing quarterly warehouse inventory audits. Check deliveries to ensure accuracy and notify the leadership of any discrepancies. Use Solutions programing to create QR codes for merchandise without UPC manifest. Follows good safety and security practices. Including reporting safety hazards. Safely move incoming cased merchandise into designated staging areas. Maintains processing area and equipment in a neat, clean, and operable condition. Any other duties assigned by Senior Director or New Goods Manager. Training & Experience: High school Diploma, preferred. Special Requirements: Able to perform basic math skills. Ability to maintain a positive, friendly, professional demeanor. Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Regular attendance at the job, requiring teamwork and interaction with others. Ability to work under general supervision. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and reach. Ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to sixty (60) pounds with no support regularly. Over sixty (60) pounds request for additional team member assistance as needed. The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects as required by job.
