UX Designer
Asure Software, Austin, TX, United States
Over 600 employees strong, Asure sees Human Capital Management (HCM) through the lens of entrepreneurs and executives with an owner’s mentality. We help businesses develop their “Human Capital” to get to the next level, stay compliant, and allocate their time, money and technology toward growth. Our HCM platform empowers more than 100,000 clients to build great teams and better manage their people while staying compliant in an ever-changing HR legislative landscape. Asure’s HCM offering includes Payroll & Tax, HR, and Time & Attendance software and HR Services ranging from online compliance tools to a fully outsourced HR department.
This is a hybrid position located at one of our hub locations: Austin, TX, Nashville, TN, Burlington, VT, Cherry Hill, NJ, Rochester, NY, Tampa, FL, or Santa Ana, CA (also open to Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ).
How you will contribute We’re looking for a UX Designer who operates at the highest level of craft and strategic impact. You’ll own major product areas end-to-end, push the boundaries of enterprise design, and help elevate Asure’s entire HCM suite from functional to truly exceptional. This is a highly visible, individual‑contributor role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems with elegant, scalable solutions and naturally mentors others through excellence.
What You’ll Do
Independently own the visual and interaction design of large, complex product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration.
Deliver world‑class, pixel‑perfect UI that balances sophistication, clarity, and performance in dense enterprise workflows.
Drive evolution of Asure’s design system: author new components and patterns, refine existing ones, and ensure adoption across multiple product teams.
Partner deeply with product management and engineering leadership to shape roadmaps and define what “great” looks like.
Proactively identify usability issues, accessibility gaps, and brand inconsistencies; propose and validate solutions through prototypes and testing.
Produce production‑ready specifications and assets; work side‑by‑side with senior front‑end engineers to achieve flawless implementation.
Lead design critiques, set the quality bar, and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback that levels up the entire design organization.
Act as a force multiplier: champion best practices and help build a stronger design culture.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of product design experience with at least 2+ years focused on complex web‑based enterprise SaaS applications.
An outstanding portfolio that demonstrates mastery of visual design, interaction design, and design systems at scale (bonus if it includes HCM, payroll, or financial software).
Expert‑level proficiency in Figma; you’ve built and scaled design systems used by multiple teams.
Experience creating interactive mockups using Figma Make AI.
Strong experience conducting user research and testing designs.
Proven ability to simplify highly complex domains without sacrificing power or compliance requirements.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; you influence directors and VPs with clarity and confidence.
Why Join Us
Directly shape the future look and feel of a platform used by 100,000+ clients.
Work with a highly skilled team of senior R&D product and engineering experts.
