The KAM takes ownership of the customer relationship and collaborates with all stakeholders using Murata’s long-standing Voice-of-Customer philosophy as a guideline.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

Contact & visit customers to review and identify strategic direction, improvement areas, and opportunities to promote Murata solutions.

Stay updated and relevant on customers’ activity and direction.

Oversee the collection, understanding, and internal communication of pertinent information.

Develop relationships with the key decision-makers that effectuate the design, procurement, usage, and service of Murata’s products.

Facilitate pricing coordination with the GAM and internal stakeholders.

Initiate and coordinate Early Sales Involvement (ESI) projects.

Negotiate pricing in alignment with the GAM and respective global affiliates.

Review, maintain, and assure effective implementation and execution of customer contracts.

Proactively answer customer inquiries and resolve concerns.

Take a leadership role in customer meetings and conference calls, publish minutes, and drive action item closure.

Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

Guide Inside Sales Associate’s work in relation to assigned customers.

Coordinate special sales projects and promotions.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Three or more years of experience in sales or marketing in an electronics-related or other technical industry.

Experience working for a culturally diverse global company with strong communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to execute strategies and effectively collaborate cross-functionally.

Advanced negotiation skills, ability to understand customer needs to develop mutually beneficial solutions, and demonstrated success in managing product promotions.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.

Previous experience in manufacturing sales, sales data collection and analysis.

Knowledge of Marketing, market planning and knowledge of the Automotive Electronics industries.

Previous budgetary responsibilities and project management experience.

Project Management experience.

Travel Domestic and international travel required.
