Commercial Director, North America

Eyebot, Boston, MA, United States

About Eyebot Eyebot is an outcome-focused technology company on a mission to make vision care accessible to everyone, equally. Headquartered in Boston’s North End and Charlestown neighborhoods and backed by top investors and the National Science Foundation, our vision test kiosk is reshaping how vision care is delivered.

If you are passionate about solving big problems and building the future of vision care, we would love to hear from you.

About The Role The Commercial Director, North America is a senior individual contributor and strategic leader responsible for building and owning Eyebot\'s commercial relationships with large enterprise customers across North America. This role requires a highly seasoned sales and account management professional who has navigated complex, multi-stakeholder deals with Fortune 500 organizations and has a proven record of guiding customers from initial proof of concept through pilot to full-scale deployment. You will operate as a trusted executive partner to customers, drive revenue growth, and represent Eyebot at the highest levels.

What You’ll Do You will own the full commercial lifecycle for Eyebot\'s enterprise accounts in North America - from identifying and closing new opportunities to guiding customers through POC, pilot, and full deployment. You will manage executive relationships at the C-suite level, coordinate across internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, and bring market intelligence back into the organization to shape product and strategy.

This role can be performed remotely, though candidates based in the Boston area are preferred and expected to work from our offices regularly. We have offices in Boston\'s North End and Charlestown neighborhoods.

What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or business development, with strong preference for experience at or alongside early-stage technology companies

Demonstrated experience managing relationships and closing deals with Fortune 500 customers - you know how large organizations buy, and how to move them forward

Proven track record leading POC-to-pilot-to-full-deployment programs, with the ability to manage complex multi-phase engagements across long sales cycles

Exceptional executive stakeholder management skills - comfortable engaging, influencing, and building trust at the C-suite level

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects through implementation

Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills

Willingness to travel as needed within North America

This role has a leadership trajectory: as Eyebot scales, you\'ll grow into managing a team of Account Executives, shaping not just the process but the people who run it

Preferred Qualifications

Optical industry experience

Experience in regulated, clinical, or health and wellness environments

Familiarity with kiosks, IoT, or embedded hardware systems

Who You Are

You build trust at the top - you have a natural ability to engage executives as peers, understand their strategic priorities, and position solutions in terms that resonate at the C-suite level

You own the whole journey - you don\'t hand off and move on; you stay engaged from first conversation through deployment and see every phase as your responsibility

You bring structure to complexity - long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder programs don\'t overwhelm you; you create clarity, set milestones, and keep things moving

You operate like a founder - you are self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable building process where none exists

You are energized by meaningful work - the idea of building a product that genuinely changes how people access healthcare keeps you motivated when things get hard

What we offer

Compensation: $170,000–$190,000 base salary plus commission, commensurate with experience

Meaningful equity - you\'re building this with us and should share in what we create

Flexible work schedule with unlimited PTO - we care about the work you do, not the hours you log

Health, dental, and vision insurance

Employer-sponsored 401(k)

Commuter support and wellness benefits - including tools like Calm and Cariloop to help you perform at your best

A culture where all ideas are welcome, no matter how out there — that\'s how Eyebot started, and it\'s how we keep moving forward

Collaborative offices in Boston\'s North End (with a waterfront view) and Charlestown neighborhoods, with regular team lunches

The opportunity to build products that improve lives and reshape how vision care is delivered.
