Position Summary As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will lead corporate tax engagements for multiple clients, providing strategic tax planning, compliance expertise, and ASC 740 income tax accounting services. You will supervise client service teams, manage engagement profitability, develop staff, and serve as a primary contact for client relationships while building a path toward Partner or Managing Director within the firm.
Must-Haves
CPA or active JD/attorney license required
Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive corporate tax compliance and ASC 740 provision experience
Willingness to work in hybrid environment with minimum 3 days per week in office or at client location (effective March 2026)
Experience in public accounting preferred
Primary Functions
Supervise and direct multiple client service teams on tax engagements across varied industries
Plan, execute, and complete complex tax projects while providing innovative tax planning and consulting expertise
Manage engagement fundamentals including realization, utilization, leverage, and accounts receivable
Conduct primary and secondary reviews of corporate income tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provision engagements
Develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and perform performance assessments
Support firm growth by achieving sales and revenue targets through business development activities
Maintain strong client relationships as primary service team contact and work collaboratively across all levels
Research and consult on various corporate and international tax matters including state, local, and transfer pricing
Participate in professional development and adhere to highest professional standards and client confidentiality
Travel as needed for client engagements
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD preferred
Deep expertise in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes and corporate income tax compliance
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, statutory income tax compliance, state and local income taxes, international taxation, and transfer pricing
Proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision software preferred
Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting skills
Exceptional client service, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Strong teamwork and attention to detail
Experience from top 20 accounting firms preferred
